    Biking & Cycling

    Parks | Visit | Activities
Cleveland Metroparks provides over 100 miles of shared-use, paved, all purpose trails for cycling, walking, running and in-line skating. Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the all purpose trails. Bicycles are permitted on roadways. The Traffic Code is applicable whenever a bicycle is operated.

The All Purpose Trails allow for regional connectivety linking you to the Ohio & Erie Trail, which extends from the Ohio River in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lake Erie in Cleveland. The all purpose trails also link to many neighboring community trails, allowing greater access to the parks for all types of trail users.

For natural surface trails, please view the Mountain Biking section.

Outdoor Recreation offers a progression of cycling programs including bicycle maintenance classes, rides, handcycle clinics, and bicycle tours. Custom programs are available.
