    • Play "ready golf." Be prepared for each shot and keep up with the group directly ahead. Cleveland Metroparks par time is 2 1/4 hours for 9 holes and 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes. Approximately 15 minutes per hole.
    • Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sand traps.
    • 18-hole players should break for only five minutes upon completion of the front nine. A longer break could result in the loss of access to the #10 tee.

At Cleveland Metroparks we are committed to doing all we can to fight slow play. Every Friday, 5 of Cleveland Metroparks 18-hole golf courses (Big Met, Manakiki, Seneca, Shawnee Hills and Sleepy Hollow) are designated as Fast Play Friday golf courses. On Fridays, we have implemented a plan to ensure that as many golfers as possible play at our pace goal of 4 hours and 35 minutes. We've expanded tee time intervals from the normal 9 minutes to 10 minutes and the courses are set up with special forward Fast Play Friday tee markers. A fast play tip sheet will be given to all golfers, and rangers will be doing all they can to speed up slow groups and keep the pace going.
