Back by popular demand, the Howl-O-Ween Bash returns for a one-night-only 21+ event where adults are encouraged to wear their best costume and enjoy an evening of enchanting entertainment at the Zoo after hours. This limited-capacity event will take place on Friday, October 24 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The Zoo will be transformed after dark with entertainment including several live bands, a live DJ, silent disco, magicians, stilt walkers, henna tattoo artists, tarot card readers, giant games and more. Guests are encouraged to wear their best Halloween attire and participate in a lively costume contest.

Is the Zoo open during the event?
The event will take place across several areas to include the Welcome Plaza/Main Entrance, inner Africa pathway, Waterfowl Lake and the Australian Adventure area. Other areas of the Zoo will be closed.
Will we be able to see the animals?
While you may see some animals in these areas, most animals will not be visible at night. You're welcome to visit during the day from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. under a separate, General Admission ticket and then return at 6:00 p.m. under a Howl-O-Ween Bash ticket.
Will there be non-alcoholic beverage options?
Yes, there will be a selection of "mocktails" and soft drinks available for purchase in addition to alcoholic beverages.
Can I purchase a ticket at the door?
Tickets will be available for purchase by credit card only on the evening of the event.
Do we have to wear a costume?
Costumes are welcome, however not mandatory. Guests that wear a full mask/face covering must remove it while in motion to maintain a full field of vision, but the mask may be worn when stationary.
