African Savanna

Visit the grassy plains of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's African Savanna to see lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras and a variety of African birds.

See lions both at a distance and up close at the African Lion habitat, featuring grassy areas, shade trees and a rock shelter. Feed a 17-foot giraffe right out of your hand at the Ben Gogolick Giraffe Encounter. View rhinos, zebras, bontebok, Colobus monkeys and more nearby, all within Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's African Savanna.
