Celebrate Earth Day at Party for the Planet presented by NOPEC! Join us at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sat., April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to connect with nature, learn how to help the environment, visit community organizations, participate in fun activities and more.
The event will take place across Zoo grounds where guests can explore and enjoy different activities related to Earth Day. We invite guests to follow the activity path to fully experience the event. Zoo admission is required.

Gorillas on the Line Campaign
Join us in supporting AZA SAFE Gorillas programs by recycling your old, unused handheld electronics. Your efforts help raise funds that directly support gorilla conservation initiatives. Accepted items include cell phones/smart phones, iPads/tablets, smart watches, GPS units, iPods/MP3 players, VR headsets, airpods/earbuds, digital cameras and associated cords and cables. Laptops cannot be accepted.

Lights for Lions: Recycling Collection
Join us in supporting Cleveland Metroparks Zoo by recycling your used and broken string lights and extension cords (no packaging, please). Your efforts help protect lions and other large carnivores in East Africa by keeping plastics out of landfills and providing essential funding for local communities.
