Glow Run 5K 

Light up the night at the Glow Run 5K presented by CrossCountry Mortgage on Monday, August 17 at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! This vibrant after‑hours race allows runners, walkers, and families to run or walk through illuminated pathways, and glowing displays. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best neon gear, and will enjoy a festive atmosphere, music, and unique nighttime views of Asian Lantern Festival at the Zoo. It’s a fun, colorful way to celebrate summer while supporting wildlife conservation. Race Day registration is online only!

  • Pre-registration through August 14 - $30
  • Registration for August 15 to Race Day - $35

Race Day Info:

  • Packet pick-up/Registration: 7:00 p.m.
  • 5k Run: 8:30 p.m.
  • 1 Mile Run/Walk: 9:00 p.m.

Timing:

  • 5K: Chip Timed
  • 1 Mile Walk: Untimed

Spectators wanting to come cheer on runners/walkers will need to purchase tickets to enter the zoo even if you are a zoo member. Ticket prices are $22.50. The Zoo admissions team will be on hand to scan the online ticket on race day once it's purchased. The box office will not be open.
