Glow Run 5K 

Light up the night at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Glow Run 5K on Monday, August 17, a vibrant after‑hours race where runners, walkers, and families move through illuminated pathways, and glowing displays. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best neon gear, and will enjoy a festive atmosphere, music, and unique nighttime views of Asian Lantern Festival at the Zoo. It’s a fun, colorful way to celebrate summer while supporting wildlife conservation. Race Day registration is online only!

  • Pre-registration through August 14 - $30
  • Registration for August 15 to Race Day - $35

  • Admission to Asian Lantern Festival from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Race Day

Race Day Info:

  • Packet pick-up/Registration: 7:00 p.m.
  • 5k Run: 8:30 p.m.
  • 1 Mile Run/Walk: 9:00 p.m.

Timing:

  • 5K: Chip Timed
  • 1 Mile Walk: Untimed

Spectators wanting to come cheer on runners/walkers will need to purchase tickets to enter the zoo even if you are a zoo member. Ticket prices are $22.50. The Zoo admissions team will be on hand to scan the online ticket on race day once it's purchased. The box office will not be open.
