School's Out Safari scholarships are closed. Please check back in August for fall School's Out Safari dates.
Limited scholarships are available for eligible recipients thanks to the generosity of the Cleveland Zoological Society.
THIS IS NOT A CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION. You will be notified within 2-3 weeks if your scholarship request has been approved. If awarded, you will need to complete online registration through a link that will be emailed to you. A scholarship application does not guarantee registration into a School’s Out Safari session.
Eligibility: Qualifying campers will:
- Be Ohio residents who will be aged 5-13 on day of program
- Attend a school where 30% or more of the students receive free/reduced lunch as documented by the State of Ohio
- OR you are welcome to email proof of eligibility (SNAP, Medicaid, National School Lunch Program) to [email protected]
Transportation: Attendees must provide their own transportation to and from the Zoo to attend School’s Out Safari. The safari starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. for full day participants and 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for half day participants.
Extended Care options: Extended care options will be made available as part of the awarded scholarship for parents that need early/late accommodations. Before Care starts as early as 7:30 a.m. and After Care ends by 6:00 p.m.
