Wallace Lake, Mill Stream Run Reservation

Euclid Creek, Euclid Creel Reservation
If you're not quite ready to tackle the open waters of Lake Erie, why not embark on a serene paddling adventure in Euclid Creek? This hidden gem offers picturesque nature experiences including great blue herons, busy beavers, and an array of beautiful flowers and plants all nestled between Lake Erie and Lakeshore Blvd. Launch from the sandy beach west of the Wildwood Marina boat launch.
Emerald Necklace Marina, Rocky River Reservation
Experience paddling next to a 365-million-year old Chagrin shale cliff as you launch at Emerald Necklace Marina. Rocky River is a top-ranked steelhead trout fishing destination and a paddling paradise for those looking for a flatter section on the river that reaches Lake Erie in about one mile. Newer paddlers will enjoy the river section, but should be aware of boat traffic. Kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals available at 41* North Coastal Adventures.
Wendy Park, Lakefront Reservation
Located behind the breakwall, Wendy Park is a great place to experience the views of downtown from the water. Huntington Beach, Huntington Reservation
Enjoy a day at the beach! Drop your kayak off at the access point, then paddle out to enjoy a view of Cleveland from Lake Erie. Don't forget to stop at The Noshery for a snack and some Honey Hut ice cream.
Garfield Pond, Garfield Park Reservation
The historic Garfield Pond has been restored with designated launching – perfect for beginner paddlers. With wheelchair access and an accessible launch, this pond is great for paddlers of all abilities.
Perkin's Beach, Lakefront Reservation
While the long staircase can make the put-in and take-out difficult, you'll be rewarded with a quiet beach area and a beautiful paddle on the open water of Lake Erie.
Edgewater Beach, Lakefront Reservation
For the experienced paddler, Edgewater offers panoramic views of downtown Cleveland and stunning sunsets over the water. Paddling access follows along the rock jetty inside the buoys at the far side of the beach. Be sure to stay clear of swim area and come prepared for windy and wavy Lake Erie conditions.
East 55th Marina, Lakefront Reservation
Launch your paddlecraft from the dock in this weather-protected cove. Paddlers should be aware of heavy boater traffic coming in and out of the marina, and capable of paddling in wind and waves if venturing out of the marina onto open Lake Erie waters.
Gordon Park Paddling Access, Lakefront Reservation
Utilize the E. 72 boat launch ramp and enjoy a fairly protected start to your paddle. Paddle east and stay near the shoreline as you explore the views of Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve.
