Rock River Oxbow Lagoon is a former river oxbow that has been enhanced to make it a permanent fishing area. The area offers various sunfish species, crappie, largemouth bass and is stocked annually with farm raised channel catfish. There is a small fishing platform on the north end of the lagoon. A short trail (0.6 mile) follows along the edge of the lagoon wetland, providing opportunities to see other wildlife up close. Keep an eye out for beaver and blue heron!
