Opening in 2026 and located at E. 55th Street Marina, the Patrick S. Parker Community Sailing Center serves as a year-round community anchor and lakefront destination for sporting and community events, education, retail, marina operations, recreation and dining.

Two new facilities comprise the Community Sailing Center campus: 

  • The east building will feature multi-purpose learning spaces, indoor and outdoor community areas, concessions and dining, including the Washkewicz Rooftop Terrace. 
  • The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Boathouse, which will sit to the west, will be home to the Charlie Britton Sailing School and serve as the region's premier sailing hub. 

The Community Sailing Center goes beyond ADA compliance by incorporating universal design and fully accessible amenities, including adaptive equipment and wheelchair access throughout. It will also connect to the future Mandel Community Trail, linking Cleveland’s harbor to University Circle. 

Rental Information

  • Fee: Starting at $200 per hour, 2-hour minimum, food and beverage minimums on weekends

  • Capacity: 40

  • There are two event rooms that can seat 40 people in each. An outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor seats an additional 50 guests. These event spaces are suitable for small wedding receptions, showers, corporate retreats and business meetings, and luncheons.

    Rentals include all set up & tear down of the banquet space. We provide tables, chairs, linen, glassware, plates, utensils & more.
