Iron Springs Reserved Shelter is located off Wolf Creek Lane, off Garfield Park Boulevard in Garfield Park Reservation, between Broadway Avenue and Turney Road in Garfield Heights.
Beginning Monday, December 13th, trails adjacent to Garfield Pond will be closed to allow crews to perform select tree removal in preparation for the upcoming restoration of Garfield Pond and Wolf Creek. Trails will be temporarily re-opened as work and conditions allow. Work on the pond and stream restoration will commence in early 2022. Both Iron Springs & Red Oak Shelters will have construction equipment and material in the near vicinity. The equipment and material will not impact the footprint of each shelter.
