Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and Northeast Ohio enjoy a beautiful setting along Lake Erie in an area rich with natural resources. The river valleys, shorelines, parkways, trails and forests of Cleveland Metroparks resonate with the community and enjoy broad support. The nearly 105-year-old park system is both a significant tourist attraction and an integral part of the region’s identity and quality of life. The 24,350 acres currently protected by Cleveland Metroparks hosted a record-breaking 19.7 million recreational visits in 2020.
