The 2023 RAISE East Side Trails project advances implementation of four priority trail projects identified during 2019 Cuyahoga Greenways planning process. This project will continue engagement to determine the preferred routes and alignment for the projects as well as other design details.
Two of the projects, Slavic Village Downtown Connector (SVDC) and Morgana Run / Booth Ave Extension (MRBA) will proceed through detailed design and engineering phases and proceed into construction. The other two projects, Opportunity Corridor Connector (OCC) and Euclid Creek Greenway (ECG) will advance through a feasibility study phase, positioning the projects for future engineering.The total length of the four projects is approximately 5.7 miles.



The initial RAISE grant application was submitted to the U.S. Department of Transportation on July 12, 2021 and on November 18, 2021 Cleveland Metroparks was announced as winner of $950,000. See a summary of the included projects here.
