Cleveland Metroparks gratefully acknowledges the family of Ricky L. Price for their contribution to the Legacy Fund. This gift supports reforestation in Cleveland Metroparks now and in the future.

Ricky L. Price loved spending time in Cleveland Metroparks with his wife, kids and dogs; in every season of the year, and in any kind of weather from sunny summer days to winter snow storms. The Rocky River Nature Center and surrounding trails are special to the Price family, representing shared memories with Ricky, whether hiking up the Fort Hill stairs, looking for turtles in the ponds, or seeing the leaves changing when summer turns to fall.

A tree stands as a metaphor for life, symbolizing growth, resilience and connectedness. Ricky's family hopes to find comfort knowing that they have a special place to go when they want to remember him, feel close to him, and connect with him.

A Serviceberry has been planted in Rocky River Reservation in memory of Ricky Price.

Tree Location: Big Cedar Point Picnic Area, Rocky River Reservation (41.407692, -81.883704)
