The family and friends of Angela Huang would like to honor her spiritual connection to living in harmony with nature. Her philosophy is Wu-Wei, an alignment with the natural flow of life. Angela expressed this philosophy through her art, practiced with great skill and mastery.
A visionary artist and trailblazer, Angela was truly a force of nature. She spent countless hours walking the trails of South Chagrin Reservation with her beloved dogs and friends. Angela’s love of nature and locally sourced ingredients inspired the incredible vegan meals she lovingly prepared for friends and family. Her gentle spirit will forever be remembered in the “Winds of Change” that blow through the branches and dance.
Angela profoundly touched the lives of all who knew her. She embodied generosity, spontaneity, beauty and authentic self-expression with grace and care. Through her local boutique and yoga and dance studio, Angela carried her mission to many, sharing her values through art, movement and community.
Angela lived just a mile from Look About Lodge and loved driving past it each day on her way to and from work. The surrounding trails hold so many joyful memories of walks shared with loved ones. This place was her sanctuary, offering both peace and reprieve.
In honor of Angela Huang’s birthday and life, the planting of two trees at the Henry Church, Jr. Rock Picnic Area has been made possible by her family and friends.
Angela's flowering trees will be planted in spring 2026 at Henry Church, Jr. Rock Picnic Area in South Chagrin Reservation.
