The family of Carol Shadrake is raising funds for the dedication of a memorial bench in Rocky River Reservation. Carol loved the outdoors and found peace and joy in Cleveland Metroparks, especially near the lagoon in Rocky River Reservation. She loved listening to the birds, watching the herons, ducks, and geese, and sharing those moments with her husband, family and friends. "The Valley" was a place she loved, and one that holds many special memories for those who knew her.
This memorial bench will serve as a lasting tribute to Carol’s life and provide a place where loved ones can reflect, remember and celebrate the moments they shared with her. It will also offer a quiet place for others to pause and appreciate the natural beauty that meant so much to her.
