For over 40 years, Cleveland Metroparks has been sharing the tradition of maple sugaring. This timeless event has brought multiple generations to Maple Grove Picnic Area to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of turning sweet sap into delicious syrup while surrounded by more than 150 sugar maple trees.
Your gift today will support planned renovations to the Maple Grove Picnic Area that will include a new Sugar Shack in time for the 2027 maple sugar season.
The project will expand the sugar shack and shelter to enhance viewing of the cooking process during annual maple sugaring programs and offer a year-round place for families and friends to gather surrounded by the beauty of Rocky River Reservation.
