Drop-by: Blending Rain Barrel Art & Sustainability
Rain barrels capture stormwater for our gardens and help keep trash and pollutants out of storm drains, reducing combined sewer overflows and protecting waterways. Unfortunately, they’re often unattractive.
Painted rain barrels provide garden-friendly water without chlorine or fluoride, supporting healthier plants, while lowering water and sewer bills. Join Artist Linda Zolten Wood as she offers demo workshops on Arts & Sustainability, highlighting creative solutions for environmental waste in a changing climate and billing discounts through the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
This event will include a make and take kid's coloring sheet. The Collinwood Painted Rain Barrel Project is sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
