Earth Science Summer: Geology & Nature Hike

The ODNR Division of Geological Survey invites Ohioans to participate in Earth Science Summer in celebration of America 250 and the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s 2026 theme: “Unearth a Story.” In collaboration with Cleveland Metroparks, join geologists Molly E. Hunt and J.D. Stucker for a hike to “Unearth a Story” at Rocky River Reservation. Hikers will have the chance to take two separate hikes to learn about the area’s natural history. The hikes will run simultaneously, and hikers will have the chance to go on both within the timeframe of the event. Registration required.
Terrain: Natural surfaces, 1.5 to 3 miles, mild to moderate intensity
