Woodland Loop Trail, Rocky River Reservation
This paved, 0.25 mile loop is right off of the parking lot at the nature center. It winds through the woods, wildflower garden and includes a deck overlooking the river.

All Purpose Trail, West Creek Reservation
Traverse this 1.8 mile trail as it loops around both meadow and wetland habitats. Bring your binoculars for some birdwatching, or try this trail at night for a star-gazing walk!

Meadow Ridge Picnic Area to Brookside Overlook, Brookside Reservation
Start and end at the Meadow Ridge Picnic Area for a paved 0.6 mile walk on the All Purpose Trail to the Brookside Overlook. As you travel through the trees and past the wetland, look for the bright yellow fall blooms of the American witchhazel.

Sanctuary Marsh Loop, North Chagrin Reservation
Take a stroll along the paved paths around the nature center, Sanctuary Marsh and Sunset Pond. Enjoy the reflection of fall colors on the water while searching for frogs, turtles, dragonflies, herons and other aquatic wildlife.

Aqueduct Trailhead, Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation
Travel along the Towpath Trail by crossing the street from the parking area. If you head south you will see the aqueduct over Mill Creek and the two large bridges over the intersecting roads. If you travel north you will see the remnants of Lock 40 after you go under the 77 bridge. Either direction you travel you will find history and nature intertwind.

Lake-to-Lake Trail, Big Creek Reservation
Lake Abram Marsh Trailhead on the Lake-to-Lake Trail offers a short yet scenic adventure for visitors of all ages. This accessible section of trail passes the Mastodon dig site, where children can explore and play, then continues across a wetland boardwalk and alongside a forested floodplain rich with wildlife and natural beauty.
