Towpath Trail, Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation

This fairly level, paved trail follows the remnants of the historic Ohio & Erie Canal. Along a 7.2‑mile stretch from Rockside Road to Harvard Avenue, you’ll experience a striking contrast of scenery in an often‑overlooked section of the Cuyahoga River Valley. Former and active industrial sites blend seamlessly with peaceful woodlands and natural areas. As you travel alongside factories and warehouses, you’ll also encounter expansive wetlands filled with waterfowl and small ponds teeming with aquatic life.

Royalview Mountain Bike Trail, Mill Stream Run Reservation

Royalview features two mountain bike loop trails, one at 5.7 miles, and the other at 4.3 miles. In addition, there is an out and back 1.9 mile spur. The trail changes from clockwise to counter-clockwise to allow riders a different experience on the same trail.

Bedford Single Track, Bedford Reservation

Bedford Reservation features 7.6 miles of paved trail and an 11.5-mile trail network with everything from smooth flowing single track suitable for beginners to more technical, rocky terrain with elevation perfect for intermediate and advanced riders. The trail occasionally overlaps with the paved all-purpose trail to link together loops.

North Chagrin Reservation All Purpose Trail

Enjoy 4 miles of paved scenic trails spanning the length of the park from Chardon Road to Wilson Mills Road. You can catch your breath at the serene Strawberry Pond, the beautiful Buttermilk Falls, and the rushing waters of Beecher's Brooke while on your ride.

Rocky River Reservation All Purpose Trail

This paved trail parallels Valley Parkway for 13 miles between Berea Falls and Lake Erie. Sunny fields, shaded woodlands and scenic views of the Rocky River provide natural interest around every turn.

Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway (West Blvd. to W 25)

White lamp posts mark this section of paved trail between West Blvd (western end of Upper Edgewater) and W. 25th St. It's an up and down adventure along Cleveland's natural lakefront cliff. You'll pedal on the north and south sides of the Shoreway as you take in the views of Edgewater Park, Lake Erie's shoreline, Whiskey Island, former industrial areas converted to residential, neighborhood entertainment spots, northcoast nature, and more!

Brecskville Reservation All Purpose Trail

The paved all purpose trail parallels Valley Parkway in Brecksville Reservation. From Brecksville, you can continue through Mill Stream Run and Rocky River Reservations all the way to Lake Erie. Stop at Aukerman Park or Sthur Woods Picnic Area for a rest along the way.
