    State Standards:

    3.ESS.2: Earth’s resources can be used for energy.

    3.ESS.3: Some of the Earth’s resources are limited.

    Objectives

    At the end of the program, students will be able to:

    · Understand that the Earth’s resources can be used for energy.

    · Understand that Earth’s resources may become limited due to overuse and pollution/contamination.

    · Articulate the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources.

    · Articulate the difference between recycling, reducing and reusing.
