As Cleveland Metroparks Chief Legal & Ethics Officer, Rose Fini is responsible for the legal and governance issues for the entire Park District. Since joining Cleveland Metroparks, Rose has fostered innovation through introducing and implementing the carbon offset program and modern project delivery models for construction, has been a passionate advocate for conservation influencing domestic legislation and international policy, and has led organizational efforts to make Cleveland Metroparks a welcoming place for all and a more sustainable workplace.
Rose is a Life Member of the Judicial Conference of the Eighth Judicial District, served as a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums delegation team for the United Nations CITES Treaty in 2016 and 2019, a Leadership Cleveland Class of 2015 graduate, and the 2014 Crain’s Cleveland Business General and In-House Counsel Government Award recipient. She also recently served as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association 2021 – 2022 President representing over 5,000 attorneys and legal professionals in Ohio.
Prior to joining Cleveland Metroparks, Rose served as Director of Legal Affairs for the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County and as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cuyahoga County and Medina County Prosecutor’s Offices.
Rose holds a Doctorate Degree from the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a bachelor’s in political science from John Carroll University.
