Directions: Meet at Wendy Park
Ages: 14 & over with registered and participating adult
Fee: $30
Includes: board & equipment
Terrain/Distance: Less than 2 miles in an open water environment with wind and waves up to 2’.
Prerequisite: SUP 1: Strokes and/or previous SUP experience that allows you to stand on your board without falling while paddling.
Enhance your SUP skills as we paddle behind the breakwall to experience a new view of downtown Cleveland during a slow-to moderate-paced sunset SUP tour on the Lake Erie Water Trail. Wave and weather conditions will determine where we paddle. Previous SUP experience is required. The entire program will be spent outside (with no access to indoor spaces), so all guests should come dressed to paddle. Leave anything not going on the water with you including a towel and extra set of clothes in your vehicle. Dry bags or Ziplock bags work well for items you choose to bring on the water with you. (A dry bag can be provided for use during the program). Dress in non-cotton layers such as synthetic materials, fleece, wool, etc. Reference the 3Ws of layering for more information about how to dress. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Please bring a completed waiver and review the participant equipment list.
