The Cleveland Metroparks RAISE Cleveland Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning application seeks to position four priority trail projects for implementation by developing full construction documents for two projects, the Slavic Village Downtown Connector Phase 2 North and Morgana Run/Booth Avenue Extension, and moving the remaining two projects, the Iron Court/Opportunity Corridor Connector and Euclid Creek Greenway Phase 2 North, through the feasibility stage. This planning application is a direct result of efforts of the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metroparks and Cuyahoga County to advance identified priorities from the Cuyahoga Greenways Plan. The total length of the four projects is 5.7 miles.
The RAISE grant application was submitted to the U.S. Department of Transportation on July 12, 2021 and on November 18, 2021 Cleveland Metroparks was announced as winner of $950,000. See a summary of the included projects here.
