During this two hour presentation, you will learn from seasoned sailors about what it’s like to encounter the many challenges sailing presents, and how it has shaped the people who spend their free time harnessing the power of the wind. Learn about sailors’ favorite hidden destinations, their most memorable trips, and how sailing has instilled a respect for the earth.
There will be a Q&A session and a lesson on the most useful sailing knots at the end of the program.
The Skills & Thrills Series is designed for you to hear an inspiring outdoor adventure story as well as learn new skills you can apply to your next adventure. There will be time for Q&A and adventure comradery at each. Check out the entire series:

- Program fees and deposits are not refundable or transferable unless Cleveland Metroparks finds it necessary to cancel a program. Participants assume risk of all changes in personal health and affairs.
- If Cleveland Metroparks cancels a program, the cancellation will be posted on the registration page for that program. For programs other than races, participants will also be notified by e-mail and/or phone.
Cleveland Metroparks staff can adapt many programs to be accessible to anyone who would
like to participate assuming they meet the essential eligibility criteria. Reasonable
