For Adults Only: Ohio Geology II
Tonight, we delve into Ohio’s geologic history to help us understand the rock formations we will see in the field, and how our unique geology influences which plants and animals can be supported in Ohio. The types of fossils that can be found in different layers, and how they were formed, will also be included in this evening’s discussion. Details about tomorrow’s bus trip will be covered. Participants must attend all three parts.

For Adults Only: Ohio Geology III
We will travel through nearly 100 million years of history on today’s field trip, and see evidence of the glaciers that once covered our parks only 12 thousand years ago. We will put our classroom knowledge to the test as we face sheer cliffs and search for fossils. Today’s bus tour is included in the program fee. See March 30 for details.
