How to Become a Volunteer
Step 1
Attend a Volunteer Information Session to learn more about the Cleveland Metroparks Volunteer Program and the opportunities available. Pre-registration is required.

Complete an online application & background check received after attending info session.
Step 3
Attend an interview.
Step 4
Receive your volunteer assignment and start volunteering!
Under the age of 18:
16 - 17 years olds are permitted to volunteer on their own in select opportunities with parental or guardian permission. Please attend an information session with your parent or guardian for more details. To review age requirements for volunteer opportunities, please visit our Individual Volunteer Opportunities Page.
