    Bee Bath

Parks | Education | Education Programs | Virtual Learning | Online Nature Center | Activities | Crafts | Bee Bath
Our early spring bees usually emerge by mid-April. One way you can help them at home is by creating a “bee bath”, or a place for them to drink water. Bee baths should contain something for the bees to land on, so that they do not drown. Also make sure to check it everyday and refill the water! Our busy friends will thank you!

    Supplies
    • Something to hold water (an old bowl, planter base, teacup, etc.)
    • Something for the bees to land on (marbles, pebbles, glass beads, etc.)
    • Water
    Instructions: As easy as 1, 2, 3!!
    1. Place pebbles into the bowl you have chosen.
    2. Add water.
    3. Place in your garden!
