Hit the snow trails - Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing is permitted on hiking, bridle, and all purpose trails, as well as the fairways and rough areas of Big Met, Little Met, Shawnee Hills, Seneca, Mastick Woods and Sleepy Hollow golf courses with a four-inch snow base.
Take an icy thrill ride - Experience the tallest, fastest ice chutes with your loved one, or little one! Feel the rush of adrenaline as you speed down a 700-foot ice chute at speeds up to 50 miles per hour! Check tobogganing hours here.
Warm up in The RainForest - where it’s always 80 degrees! The RainForest showcases more than 10,000 plants and over 600 animals from the jungles of Asia, Africa and the Americas. And, make sure to visit baby orangutan Merah!
Hand feed a chickadee - visitors can experience the thrill of feeding a free-flying wild bird that lands in your hand! We’ll supply a handful of black oil sunflower seeds and instructions. Feed winter birds at the Brecksville Nature Center on Saturdays & Sundays from 10 a.m. – noon.

Take your princess or prince to a REAL castle - North Chagrin Reservation features the stunning Squire's Castle. Built at the turn of the century by F.B. Squire, it was intended to serve as the gatehouse of his country estate, but plans for the remainder of the estate never materialized.
