Hayride Know Before You Go:
- The hayride may be bumpy
- No eating, drinking, or smoking on hay wagons.
- There are no lights except from the tractor on the trail after dark.
- The hayride travels into the woods along a trail near The Chalet.
- Hay throwing is permitted on hayrides. Take caution with small children. Straw does stick to clothing. Non-hay throwing wagons are available at select times.
- Riders must remain seated while the wagon is in motion and through the entire ride.
- Riders must always keep their hands and arms inside the wagon.
- Do not throw straw at the driver of the wagon. You will be permitted to throw straw at the other wagons once the wagon is on the trail.
- Secure all loose items including glasses, purses, wallets, atm & credit cards, items in pockets and other belongings such as watches, rings, cell phones and cameras. We are not able to stop the ride and search the trail or hay wagon if you lose an item. (Rings get loose on cold hands).
- All riders must follow the wagon attendants’ instructions.
- The entire ride, including loading and unloading wagons, is approximately 30 minutes.
- No outside food or beverage permitted inside The Chalet building during public hayride hours.
- Wristbands are required for all activities including DJ and dancing. (Wristbands are included with your hayride ticket purchase).
- No personal electrical appliances or extension cords permitted inside or outside of the Chalet building during public hayride hours.
- A limited number of coin lockers are available in our upstairs loft.
- The last hay wagon leaves the Chalet at 8:30pm.
- If you have a private wagon time reserved, you must pick up your group ticket from the ticket booth and have your entire group in line at the designated area 10 minutes prior to your reserved time.
