Participants will gain a very basic understanding of the parts of the boat, sail trim, and steering. If you are interested in further sailing opportunities after the Try-It, you can register for Sailing 1: Crewing & Sailing 2: Skippering. The entire program will be spent outside; please dress appropriately for the weather. Dressing in non-cotton layers is encouraged.   Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Please bring a completed waiver and review the participant equipment list for information on how to prepare.
