Don’t let the cold weather keep you from being on the water!  Learn how to kayak in the warmth of the pool, so when warmer weather returns, you are ready!  Paddlers will learn basic paddling strokes and maneuvers that will increase their paddling efficiency on the water. Be prepared to get wet as you will be practicing a wet exit (flipping your kayak) as part of the class. The entire program will be spent in the pool.  Please come dressed to be in the water.  Locker rooms will be available for you to change after the program.  Dress in non-cotton layers such as synthetic materials, fleece, wool, etc.  Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Please bring a completed waiver and review the participant equipment list.
