This class takes you to the next level of your fly fishing adventures.  Now that you’ve perfected your skills on dry land, move to one of Cleveland Metroparks lakes to try your new casting skills in the water and hopefully catch a fish.  Discover some of the best fishing locations and learn how to select the right flies for varying species of fish as well as unhook and properly handle a fish. Typically, a fishing license is required to fish here; however, there is an exemption for Cleveland Metroparks programs on Astorhurst Pond, so you do not need a license for this program. Fly rods and reels will be provided.  Feel free to bring your own equipment. The entire program will be spent outside; please dress appropriately for the weather. Dressing in non-cotton layers is encouraged.   Please bring a completed waiver and review the equipment list. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early.
