Rock Climbing: Anchor Building 1*

Ages: 14 & over (Minors between the ages of 14-17 MUST have a registered and participating adult)     
Fee: $20 per person (All guests MUST register)  
Terrain/Distance: Classroom setting 
Prerequisite: previous climbing experience highly recommended. 
Continue your rock climbing enthusiasm by expanding your top rope climbing knowledge. Join us for a classroom-based exploration of anchor building principles.  The basic concepts behind anchor building are discussed as well as common knots and top rope equipment used in rock climbing. After we cover knots and basic concepts, we’ll practice building anchor systems using all the same equipment you would use outside. All equipment will be provided. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early, and review the participant equipment list.
