A Shot of Whiskey Island *

A Shot of Whiskey Island *

Historical Interpreter Doug Kusak found answers to some of his nagging questions: Why is it called “Whiskey Island” if it’s really a peninsula? How did Ohio get a salt mine while Cleveland got the shaft? If “Cuyahoga” means “crooked,” why is the mouth of the river straight? What’s going on at the former Coast Guard Station? Where are the Huletts? Who was Ed Hauser? This, and more, as we delve into the history and the mystery of our lakefront urban oasis. Join us for this indoor presentation. What better way to spend a part of your Saturday afternoon?
