Thinking about getting into fishing or maybe introducing your kids? Join us during this hands-on program to learn about which rods and lines to choose as well as some basic fishing knots. There will be plenty of time to wet your line and apply your new skills as you try to catch a fish. Then, you'll learn how to unhook and properly handle a fish.  Typically, a Fishing license is required to fish here; however, there is an exemption for Cleveland Metroparks programs on Wallace Lake, so you do not need a license for this this program. Fishing rods will be provided, but feel free to bring your own equipment. The entire program will be spent outside; please dress appropriately for the weather. Dressing in non-cotton layers is encouraged.   Reference the 3Ws of layering for more information about how to dress. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Please bring a completed waiver and review the participant equipment list.
