Experience Boo at the Zoo, Cleveland’s Favorite Halloween Tradition Enjoy three weekends of spooktacular fun Fridays-Sundays, October 12-28

Boo at the Zoo, presented by Citizens Bank, enters its 29th year of family fun at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. This year’s safe, family-friendly event will run Fridays thru Sundays, October 12-14, October 19-21 and October 26-28 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Every entry ticket includes unlimited free rides on the Boomerang Line train, Circle of Wildlife Carousel, and access to the 4-D Theater. Additional activities include Trick or Treat Way, character meet-and-greets, a hay maze, the Monster Mash Dance Party—and of course—your favorite Cleveland Metroparks Zoo animals!

“We’re proud to be building on Cleveland’s favorite Halloween tradition in its 29th year with the support of Citizens Bank," said Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer Kelly Manderfield. “Guests this year can look forward to unlimited 4-D Theater movies, carousel and train rides, plus enjoy complimentary trick-or-treat stations and a larger-than-life tiger constructed out of hay bales designed by our own visual communications team.”

For nine magical nights, families can dress up as an adorable animal or spectacular superhero at the zoo. Guests are encouraged to wear a fun (not scary) costume (adults should refrain from wearing masks that completely cover their faces). Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights to illuminate some of the darker areas of the Zoo.

“We are so proud to be a part of this annual Halloween celebration at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo,” said Ralph Della Ratta, state president of Citizens Bank, Ohio. “We are honored to return for another year as presenting sponsor of the 2018 Boo at the Zoo.”

Several nights sell out each year, so get your tickets before they disappear! Tickets are available now at futureforwildlife.org/boo and at the Zoo Box Office. General admission is $14 at the Zoo Box Office and $11 online, children younger than two are free. Zoo Member admission is $10 online and $14 at the Zoo Box Office.

Tickets to the Sunday Character Dinner are also available online and at the Zoo Box Office and are $28.50 and $29.50 for members and non-members, respectively. The character dinner takes place Sundays 4 - 6 p.m. and includes admission to Boo at the Zoo.  Dinner includes a special visit from costumed characters and other spooktacular entertainment.

Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 90 and 480.
