Saturdays and Sundays in December! Santa himself will be nestled in the
cozy confines of the Wolf Wilderness lodge in the Zoo's Northern Trek
    area from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21.

    ?

    Guests
will be able to relax by the fireplace in the lodge while their kids
visit with Santa -- away from the usual hustle and bustle of the mall.

    American Association of Zoo Keepers.

    The Zoo
is truly a year-round destination, and each season is a different
experience. Visiting the Zoo during the peace and quiet of the winter
months is a relaxing and unique change of pace. After checking out the
music and visiting with the wolf pack in Wolf Wilderness, guests can
visit the other cold weather loving animals of Northern Trek including
the bears, tigers and reindeer. When it's time to warm up, the Zoo's
complimentary heated shuttle will deliver guests to the Primate, Cat
& Aquatics Building to check out the gorillas, lemurs, snow leopards
    and more.

    ?

The elephants can be seen year-round in the
state-of-the-art Elephant Care & Visitor Center along with naked
mole rats and an African rock python. The koalas spend the winter in
GumLeaf Hideout and of course, no winter visit to the Zoo is complete
without a walk through The RainForest, where it's 80 degrees, 365 days a
    year.

    ?

    Northeast Ohio's most-visited year-round
attraction, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
