Have fun in the sun and celebrate summer with all the fixings: a sandy beach, Lake Erie, a beautiful sunset, live music, arts and crafts, fabulous food, friends and family. It's all happening at Cleveland Metroparks new lakefront event On The Edge, Saturday, June 14 from 3 - 9 p.m. at Lower Edgewater Park in Lakefront Reservation. On The Edge celebrates what can be experienced on the edge on the edge where water meets shore, city meets nature, and art meets culture.
There is something for everyone at On The Edge. International award-winning sand sculptor, Carl Jara, will showcase his artistry on Edgewater Beach. Watch as he crafts a sand creation that is as huge as it is awesome. Kids can craft their own sand art masterpiece or try mural painting or tie-dying with Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Experiences staff.
View works of fine art with a focus on Cleveland arts, culture and nature showcased by more than a dozen local artists. Mediums range from photography and painting to jewelry and metal work.
Nothing says summer more than an outdoor concert on the beach. Bring a blanket or beach chairs and relax while listening to top local bands.
