Nothing says old-fashioned summer fun more than a drive-in movie or classic car cruise-in. Combine both car-themed activities into one event and you have a real winner. Motor over to Cleveland Metroparks free Cruise-In Movie night on Friday, June 20 from 8 - 11 p.m. at Wallace Lake in Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation.
Beautiful Wallace Lake is a picturesque setting for a car cruise-in. Showcase your classic car or truck, hot rod, muscle car, or rat ride in the reserved classic car parking area. Or just come out and admire the sweet rides on display and watch the movie.
At dusk (approximately 8:45 p.m.), settle in and get comfortable for a big screen movie showing of a family-friendly movie based on a popular environmentally-themed Dr. Seuss book. Will the orange colored guardian of the forest with a yellow mustache successfully persuade others about the importance of conserving nature? Watch the movie from your car, bring chairs or a blanket and watch from the beach or grassy hill area. Visit Quarry Rock Caf before or during the movie to purchase refreshments.
Registration is not required for classic cars. Reserved classic car parking is available beginning at 5 p.m.
