    COME OUT AND PLAY AT EUCLID BEACH BLAST

    Enjoy an evening chock-full of free outdoor fun on the lakefront at the fifth annual Euclid Beach Blast on Saturday, August 2 from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland Metroparks Euclid Creek Reservation. Celebrate the past, present and future of Euclid Beach Park. Have a blast and enjoy live music, delicious food, games, arts and crafts, community partner information tables, guided bike tours, a sandcastle building competition and a special sand creation by award-winning ice and sand sculptor, Greg Batauski.


    The festivities blast off with a 4:30 p.m. performance by the Pride of Glenville Marching Band. Local bands, live performances and other activities are scheduled throughout the evening on two stages.

    Upstage Players is a local, youth theater company. �No Easy Cleanup,� is their original live performance about protecting the Great Lakes and keeping our beaches clean. It's the final product of a six week theater writing and environmental science summer internship program supported by a grant from Neighborhood Connections and Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.        



    Grab a bite to eat from a variety of food vendors including: B&M BBQ, Beachland Ballroom, Callaloo Caf�, Chill Pop Shop, Real Fr�t, East Coast Custard, Euclid Beach Concessions & Gift, Fired Up Taco Truck and Savannah Kettle Corn.

    urn right if coming from I-90 east, left if coming from I-90 west. Turn right on Waterloo Rd. Turn left on E. 156th Street. Turn right on Lake Shore Blvd. The entrance to Euclid Beach Park is directly across from Collinwood Recreation Center, just past the Euclid Beach arches. Or ride your bike to Euclid Beach Blast and park for free in the Ohio City Bike Co-op Bike Corral.
