Get a jump on winter fun at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's fifth annual Fairytales & Frogs event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, February 17 in The RainForest.
Polliwogs, princes and princesses will enjoy an event toadally dedicated to discovering the fascinating lives of frogs. Guests can partake in frog crafts, storytelling, games, meet-the-keeper talks, Get Close animal experiences and then experience a frog's favorite weather in The RainForest where it's always a toasty 80 degrees.
Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite prince, princess or frog, hop around the dance floor with Radio Disney and meet the Zoo's larger-than-life frog mascots and even a princess or two! The event is a great way to get the kids off the lily pad, beat the winter blues and learn all about the environmental importance of frogs, the perils they face in the wild from pollution and habitat loss, and the unique role they play in fairytales and stories throughout history.
