You love to admire the scenic beauty of Cleveland Metroparks on two feet, now enjoy it on two wheels. Register today for Cleveland Metroparks Ride the Emerald Rim on Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This bike tour, for adults and teens ages 14 and older, encompasses Mill Stream Run, Brecksville and Big Creek reservations.
Immerse yourself in nature while pedaling your way through Cleveland Metroparks. Enjoy scenic landscapes, forests, wetlands, lakes, ponds, hills, valleys and a variety of wildlife.
One of the unique aspects of this ride is choosing your own 20, 30 or 50 mile cycling adventure. Starting from the Chalet in Mill Stream Run Reservation in Strongsville, riders choose from three different routes, a 20-mile City Flats route (Big Creek Reservation), a 30-mile Rolling Rural route (Brecksville Reservation) or a 50-mile Long Haul (Big Creek and Brecksville Reservation) which combines the thrill of the Rolling Rural with the City Flats route.
After completing your Emerald Rim bike ride, relax and enjoy the fellowship of other cyclists while eating a healthy lunch, or try slacklining or disc golf with Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation staff.
Registration before May 2 is $20 for adults and $15 for teens, ages 14 -17. Fee includes lunch and a T-shirt, while supplies last. After May 2 registration is $25 for adults and $20 for teens.
