From the shores of Lake �Eerie� to the spooky woods of North Chagrin Reservation, Cleveland Metroparks has two Halloween runs that are bound to raise goose bumps and get your blood pumping.
The all-ages Vampires and Werewolves Family Run is set for Saturday, October 19 from 3-7 p.m. at North Chagrin Nature Center in North Chagrin Reservation. The whole family can don their favorite Halloween costumes and choose from a one mile, two mile or 5K non-competitive race. Three courses will be set up so kids and adults can enjoy running, face painting, goblin candy stations, creepy crafts and more.
Best costume awards will be presented at various age levels and everyone gets a medal for entering. Registration is required, and fees increase after October 4, so reserve your space on the course now - and don't forget to watch out for vampires and werewolves on the trail! You may run your fastest 5K ever with zombies on your tail! Head to Edgewater Park in Cleveland Metroparks new Lakefront Reservation for the Run from the Zombies on Saturday, October 26 from 4-6:30 p.m. Dodge the zombies as you traverse the 5K course of sand, pavement and hills. Wear your favorite Halloween costume for a chance to win �Best Costume.�
