If you have yet to experience the prehistoric roar of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's Dinosaurs! exhibit, now's your chance! The special seasonal exhibit has been extended through September 29 by popular demand.

Lurking on the wooded path around Waterfowl Lake, the prehistoric age unfolds throughout the exhibit with 21 replicas of these extinct giants brought to life by the magic of animatronics.

The Zoo's dinosaur displays feature 15 different species, six of which made their Zoo debut this summer, including Coelophysis, a speedy carnivore with jagged teeth, and Troodon, one of the first fossilized dinosaurs found in North America.

Guests will also meet the double-crested Dilophosaurus - the returning fan-favorite that sprays water on unsuspecting observers, the heavily armored Edmontonia, the spiny predator Acrocanthosaurus, the carnivorous giant Tyrannosaurus rex and many others, along with examples of juvenile dinosaurs and dinosaur nests.

Admission to Dinosaurs! is just $3.50 per person with regular Zoo admission, or $2 per person for Zoo members. Children younger than 2 are free.

Discount Dinosaur! tickets are available at all area Dave's Markets.

Northeast Ohio's most-visited year-round attraction, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $12.25 per person, $8.25 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 90 and 480.
