Wrestling with what to do with your school-age children the day after Thanksgiving? Round up your kids and trot over to Cleveland Metroparks CanalWay Center for a fun-filled Kid's Day at CanalWay on Friday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kids can enjoy a nature hike in the crisp, cool fall air with CanalWay staff. See how many leaves can be identify and what animals are about to settle down for hibernation.

After some time outside, there will be inside activities, including crafts, games and a kid-friendly movie.

Bring a lunch, a water bottle and dress for the weather. Kids will be outside for part of the day.

All children must be ages 6 to 12 years old.

Registration, beginning November 1, and a $20 fee are required.

CanalWay Center is located on Whittlesey Way, off the East 49th Street entrance of Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, between Grant Avenue and Canal Road in Cuyahoga Heights.
