Cleveland Metroparks Zoo recently launched a re-designed website at clevelandmetroparks.com/zoo to make information on the Zoo's animals, exhibits and educational opportunities available at your fingertips in a new graphic-based, easy-to-find format.
Not sure how to get to the Zoo or what to do when you get there? The new interactive map provides driving directions from any location with a click of the mouse. Go to Visit to link to upcoming events and happenings, learn about the animal exhibits and habitat areas, and how to plan your perfect day at the Zoo.
The Zoo's animal database is easier to search than ever. The new website integrates multi-media for fun, engaging information on all the Zoo's animals. The new site's online resource library provides educators with animal fact sheets, activities, videos, lesson plans and the ability to share resources.
Click on Events for special events throughout the year and programs for the upcoming months. Looking for a summer day camp or educational program? Find out what's available and when, then sign up and pay securely online.
The site's Conservation tab will take you to the latest information on regional and international research projects the Zoo is involved with and cover conservation and sustainability issues, too.
The site also makes it easy to find opportunities for jobs or volunteering at the Zoo.
The site will be updated often, providing a new experience on each visit.
