Cleveland Metroparks presents a �Pedaling for a Purpose� program series. In these fun programs, Historical Interpreter/Naturalist Foster Brown leads a bicycle journey for the purpose of promoting health, wellness and learning cultural and natural history in and beyond the Park District.
These rides, named �Biking the Back Roads� for rides out of the Park District and �Tour de Emerald Necklace� for rides in the Park District, are geared for the dedicated rider, but not at a fast pace. Each ride will average 35 to 40 miles with periodic stops at spots of interest.

May 29 - Kokosing Gap Trail
October 19 - Geauga County Amish Ride
Tour de Emerald Necklace -
June 29 - Rocky River Reservation
July 27 - Mill Stream Run Reservation
August 13 - Brecksville and Bedford reservations
September 28 - South Chagrin and North Chagrin reservations
Each group ride is from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and has volunteers assisting. For details about each ride, see the Emerald Necklace monthly publication or visit clevelandmetroparks.com.
