Join Cleveland Metroparks for Called Again (To the Appalachian Trail), a special presentation on Monday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m at Rocky River Nature Center.

Jennifer Pharr Davis, an American long distance hiker, currently holds the unofficial record for the fastest thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail with a time of 46 days, 11 hours and 20 minutes set on July 31, 2011.

Hear her stories of determination, perseverance and how she tested her physical limits during her third thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, which became the 46-day record-setting journey. There's also romance in her adventure as she shares a brief love story during this amazing journey.

An author of three books, Pharr Davis will also be available for a book signing after the lecture.

And, before the presentation from 5 to 7 p.m., Pharr Davis offers a free "Long Journey Hiking" clinic.

Registration and $6 fee are required. Space is limited.

To register, go to clevelandmetroparks.com. For more information, call 216-341-1704.
